View of Dyer Ridge

These pictures form a panoramic moving left to right, south to north, of Dyer Ridge. Union artillery markers can be seen along the crest (no cannon are there but there are stone markers and cast iron tablets). To some extent this shows the slope and the open ground that the Confederates would have had to deal with in an attack up the ridge. These pictures were also taken near the spot where Hood was wounded, this time losing a leg.
